THE SUMMER, ACCORDING TO THE DESIGNER VICTOR VON SCHWARZ
Victor von Schwarz , the voice of a new generation of Spanish fashion designers, proposes a summer to make us all reflect.
The collection is called THE END and, in the words of the
creator himself, " is inspired by the reality we live marked by
uncertainty" . Von Schwark warns about the prevailing culture of use and
disposal where what is expected is an exponential increase in pollution and
deterioration of the environment .
The objective of its eponymous brand is to reflect one of
its more than possible consequences: the decline of humanity; a space-time not
distant from the present. "In a society that is increasingly
technologically advanced by the day, we are, surprisingly, closer than ever to
the Apocalypse" , the designer points out in this regard.
These are your proposals.
Victor von Schwarz, the voice of a new generation of Spanish
fashion designers, proposes a summer to make us all reflect.
The collection is called EL FIN and, according to the
creator himself, "is inspired by the reality that we live surrounded by
uncertainty". Von Schwark warns about the predominant culture of throwaway
where an exponential increase in pollution and environmental deterioration is
to be expected.
The objective of his homonymous brand is to reflect one of
its more than possible consequences: the decline of humanity; a space-time not
at all distant from the present. "In an increasingly technologically
advanced society, we are, surprisingly, closer than ever to the
Apocalypse," says the designer.
Here is what he is proposing.
THE END is divided into two parts: the prelude to this
denouement and death as the end of the human race. The first includes cuts
based on garments from the sixties and seventies, and uses radioactively
inspired colors- in von Schwarz's words - such as acid green, red and pink.
They dye a range of fabrics that includes tactel, corduroy, silk, wool, poplin
and patterns.
In the second part, that of death, a greater polychromism is
used; and tulle and volatile fabrics with much more romantic and voluminous
cuts take center stage. With a degree in fashion and tailoring, Victor von
Schwarz has worked in the design team of creatives such as Manuel Bolaño and
Josep Font, and has already become one of the Spanish creatives to follow more
closely. Stay tuned .
